I have been doing some thinking lately about the possibility of a fictious timeline for the tier. Not fictious meaning there will be a change in history, but one in which we have sort of a futuristic victorian era or steampunk element.

Flyingships, jetpacks, steam technology up to the brim.

I will give some more thought into this idea. Until then, stay tuned for more news.

It's been a long time

While a small battle, this battle did present a decisive victory over the Spanish forces. A small cavalry patrol was ambushed by a force of Moroccan cavalry and light infantry. The Spanish, outnumbered, found a key defensive position atop a small hill. The battle eventually ended in a massive cavalry charge, where the Spaniards ended up getting the best of the Moroccans. While the Spanish captain was lost in the fighting, the Moroccans retreated, allowing the Spanish cavalry to finish the patrol around the outskirts of Tangler, before returning. The body of the Spanish captain was returned home across the Strait of Gibraltar, and buried.

Furthering the cause of the Italian reunification, The Piedmont Army will prepare to invade and annex The Duchy of Lucca and then The Archduchy of Tuscany.

The Kingdom of Sardinia-Piedmont has won a significant battle in Northern Italy against Modena resulting in the crushing defeat of Modenese Forces. Later that day the Regent of Modena has seceeded all territory of The Principality of Modena to The Kingdom of Sardinia-Piedmont.
