The Mane Six is a fanon term given to the cast of six ponies around which the majority of episodes revolve. Its membership includes Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. In The Cutie Mark Chronicles it is made clear they all have had a special, inexplicable connection to each other before they met.

We defeated numbers of villians like Discord, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, and many others. Our new target is the admins in TFF because we know we have the potential to destroy them.

They're the embodiment of the Elements of Harmony and they're here to Love & Tolerate the crap out of you.
