RULES:

1. The collective is a better fit for those who collect craft #1 items, as opposed to those who solely wish to trade them: It is okay for our members to trade craft #1 items between each other. It is also okay for our members to trade or sell their craft #1 items to others outside of the collective, but they must show an affinity for and hold onto at least one craft #1 item.

Members who seem to hold no affinity for their craft #1 items, or trade or sell them away quickly and aggressively, may be ejected from the collective. As stated above, the "fast and furious" type of trader who is always changing their mind or trying to flip items for profit is not a good fit for the collective.

2. Our members must be of good standing in the Team Fortress 2 community: Everyone should strive to be on their best behavior. Scammers and scamming will NOT be tolerated; other odious trade tactics, such as sharking, will not be tolerated either. Liars and manipulators will have an extremely brief time in the collective. In short, because the members ultimately represent the collective, they must be on their best behavior.

3. All trades or sales of craft #1 items owned by members of the collective MUST be reported as soon as possible, in the form of a comment, on the collective's profile: Because the collective's roster is maintained and updated manually, it must be known when our craft #1 items are traded or sold, in order for the roster to remain accurate.

Leave a short and quick comment on the collective's profile about the trade or sale. The trade or sale must be reported as a comment, because comments allow the owner to keep track of the members and their trading practices, making sure that members adhere to the first rule of the collective. This is an extremely important rule, and members may be ejected from the collective if they fail to report their trades as soon as possible.

Membership in the collective is by invite only. If you agree to abide by all of the rules, possess a craft #1 item, and agree to keep your profile and inventory public while you are a member of the collective, feel free to contact the group creator (STARTCH) for an invitation.

Roster expansion project?

Hey guys,

I have an idea, but I'd like to get the feedback of the collective before deciding if I will or will not go forward with it.

The idea I have is to include unobtainable craft #1 items on the roster.

What this does not mean:

- Representing craft #1 items on the roster which belong to players who are not a part of the collective.

- Representing craft #1 items on the roster which belong to players who are permanently tradebanned, or incapacitated in some way, which prevents their items from ever leaving their backpack.

What this does mean:

- Listing craft #1 items on the roster which are completely extinct, and now have no owner. For example, craft #1 items which were wiped by Valve, or deleted on purpose by their owner.

I know that there are a few instances of this happening *a gust of wind blows by, and then a single, sad tear rolls down my cheek*, most recently with dav3's craft #1 items. I'm sure that there are others, but I can't remember specifically. I think the Apparition's Aspect #1 is gone, but I'm not 100% on that.

So what do you guys think? Is it a good idea to represent these items on the roster? Our ultimate, final boss top tier legendary level goal is total and complete representation of all craft #1 items existing at a given time. Representing these unobtainable craft #1 items will help round out our roster when that time comes, instead of having a bunch of missing items on the roster that viewers won't know the stories behind. It would also be a use for the notes column on the roster which no craft #1 items use so far.

Feedback on if this is a good idea or not would be appreciated. Suggestions are also welcome, as well as tips about what YOU have heard, or know. If you heard that a certain craft #1 item went extinct, please comment and share that information within the collective. It would be interesting to know for sure just how many times a craft #1 item has been lost.

Recently, I have been made aware of members who may have traded, sold or received new craft #1 items without posting a comment on the collective's profile.

If you think you're one of these people, I strongly recommend you check the roster and post a comment if you neglected to do so before, so that the roster remains accurate. I shouldn't have to look through every profile to find out what is and isn't there, and I ask of nothing from the majority of you, except to spread the word and represent the collective throughout your journeys on the internet.

If I have to find out myself that you couldn't be bothered to post a comment that takes 2 seconds to post, then I'll have to reconsider if I can be bothered to take 2 seconds out of my life to keep you updated on the roster, or to have you in the collective at all. I like to think that we have a really cool thing going here, and that we can all work together to keep everything accurate and up-to-date.

So if you forgot to tell me about a trade or a new #1 item you got your hands on, please do it now. For those who have been commenting religiously and following the rules (you know who you are), disregard this announcement; you're great!

hey, the man is back. it didn't seem like the updates were happening, so i stopped reporting a while back. anyway, flapjack, hermes, danger, rogue's robe, classified coif , man in slacks, level three chin, vive la france, au courant assassin, frickin' sweet ninja hood, smoking skid lid, lunatic's leathers, peacenik's ponytail, gas guzzler, medicine manpurse, egghead's overalls, employee of the mmmph, frymaster, southie shinobi, combustible kabuto, ze ubermensch, black watch, joe-on-the-go, sengoku scorcher, frontier djustice, maschinensoldaten-helm, first american, regime-panzerung, big daddy, and falconer since the last update (not including the dr. grordbort's brainiac set, which was reported by bulletproof cupid). i think that's it...

Also, there will be some changes coming to the leadership in the collective. I just need to think about it for a bit and iron out the complete details, but for now, it looks like it'll be HLA bumped up to admin status (If HLA chooses to accept the role). HLA and Shadow will both receive the ability to make changes to the spreadsheet, something which I held onto for a while in order to preserve the sanctity of the spreadsheet in terms of design (so that all changes and entries to the spreadsheet look uniform), but I think it's been long enough to know that I can trust them both to be able to keep everything neat and clean. There will be more on this by the end of the week.

Sorry for the long hiatus guys. I moved out to my own apartment, got a new car, working full time, so it's been real busy for me. I updated the roster to reflect every single change, but feel free to give it a once over in case I screwed anything up. Everything should be correct, but give it a shot. The only change I couldn't make was the El Jefe #1, because I can't see it in Hyphen's BP for some reason, so I'm not sure where it actually is right now.
