Hi guys, Firstly I'd just like to apologize for my epic 'derp' on the group name. Incorrectly spelling U-n-i-v-e-r-s-i-t-y is pretty atrocious on my part and unfortunately I am unable to change the group name through either Steam or Steam Support, whoops!

If the group was a little larger I probably wouldn't bother with this but seeing as it is still early days I hope that you won't mind if we all shift into the now properly named Swinburne University Gamers group which can be found at the same address (http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/Swinburne) as I've moved this old group to a new URL.

The process should be simple enough for getting everyone across, I'll be sending out invitations to the new group to everyone currently in this one. (the old group)

Sorry for the inconvenience guys, my bad!

tl;dr: Accept the new group invite, leave the old one if you like, it's up to you really.

First and foremost, thanks for choosing to join up with the group! By doing so you have given us all a solid start on the road to consolidating SwinGamers as an effective social componant of the gaming community at Swinburne University statewide.

All members are encouraged to invite their fellow classmates and friends into the group at their own leisure. The group belongs to all of the students within, and thus as a member you are more than welcome to organize events, post comments & announcements and take part in any online gaming events, of course!

I've been playing a lot of TrackMania lately - there's a free version on here. I'm also working on hosting a server on there, though it's a bit of a work in progress. Beyond that, I have what is best described as a metric s***load of games - check my profile for the list.

Just a small advert to any Minecrafters at Swinburne, I have just released a beta version of my mod, named the "currency mod". What this mod does is make stone, iron and gold tokens and coins, which can be used for rp servers (eg. shops, trades, pay for work, etc.), and to turn into usable resources or better coins. It is usable in both single player and multiplayer, and easy to install, with a small download size.

Fair enough. Killing Floor is certainly the game I play most, so if we can get a team of six together, we can at least get used to each others play styles and increase our chances of survival a bit.
What servres are people running? Anteh has mentioned their minecraft server, but does anyone have a TF2 one, or a Killing Floor one, etc?

Lately I've been playing the new Crysis 2 Demo, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Killing Floor and Minecraft.
If anyone happens to be interested I'm often running a Minecraft server from home & would be more than willing to provide the server address to anyone that would like to play.

Still no word back from the SSAA yet but remaining optimistic. :)

Hey, I'm reasonably new as a 3D gamer - I never really made it past Super Mario Bros and Sonic, due to lack of access to computers/consoles. But here now, and just about to download TF2. I'm never going to get my homework done...
