When you pass away, the only people who tend to feel a significant loss are the ones who raised you because a part of them is gone as well. Otherwise, who really cares? Your friends, your co-workers, your ex-partners? The world will keep spinning after you're gone, people will move on, form new relationships and you will eventually be forgotten.
