Withdrawals are now available, thank you all very much for your patience and as mentioned before we've given all those with outstanding balances a +10% added bonus as a token of our appreciation.

If for some reason you can't withdraw your skins yet you need not worry as your chips balance will be safe with us and we plan to relaunch very early 2016 providing poker services and more.

People who received 250 chips free from promotions but never used it have have had it removed.

• All poker usernames have been freed up so you'll have the very first chance to pick the name you love, this name will be shown at the poker tables only and cannot be changed.

Hello guys our team is working incredibly hard in rebuilding SteamPoker and we plan to officially release early 2016. We're hugely appreciative for how patient everyone has been during this entire process and we love the excitement you've shown for SteamPoker being back up.

We'd also like the guarantee that you can withdraw the chips you currently have on the website before Christmas. We'll know an exact date closer to the time as some of the code is still being developed.

One of the updates we've made is valuing 1 chip at $1 worth of skins. So if you had 1000 chips on the website it will show as a $1 balance, you'll be able to withdraw an equal value worth of skins.

We're aware many of you have been following us and whilst we've attempted to repair our current broken code from previous developers we've had no success. Because of this we won't be updating the current website in it's form until our new website is ready.

Right now we're expecting to relaunch in about 2-3 months time, but this is a very vague estimation as we're still in the early stages.

Some of you still have balances on the website and there are a handful of people who either didn't receive their skins or their chips from a faulty trade with our bots. Your balances and trade history has been recorded and is saved on our database. So rest assured you'll be refunded once we have the ability to do so and those who have been waiting a long time will be heavily compensated for the major inconvenience.

As most of you know in the great battle of Sparkles subscribers vs SteamPoker servers we didn't end up victorious. There were numerous casualties along the way and people left without a place to play poker for skins *moment of silence*. We've since been hard at work and are confident we'll be able to reopen our poker tables very soon - with enough room for all our new players

Estimated relaunch: Tuesday May 26th, 10pm EST

In short: Our poker software (Poker Mavens) was not designed to handle much over 500 logins.

When this number is exceeded things start to become unstable, especially with the number of open tables we had this weekend. While we're exploring alternative software for the future, for now we're simply going to be hosting multiple instances of Poker Mavens.

Each server will be housed on its own physical machine and none will communicate directly with each other. We hope that by capping logins on each server and spreading players evenly across them we'll be able to provide all our players with the best possible experience.

In order to do this our current infrastructure has required some major changes. We'll be introducing a "site balance" which can be put on/taken off each poker server. Deposits and withdrawals will use your site balance instead of your poker balance directly. This is expected to be complete soon but must be tested thoroughly before going live.

So far we've purchased 2 additional poker servers (3 total) and plan to cap logins on each to ~500. If there is demand beyond 1500 simultaneous logins we'll be adding more. With our new system in place adding more servers beyond 3 should take hours, not days, and require no site downtime.
