Spiral Studios is here to serve our fans. We like to keep them in the loop, with news and updates tailor made to pique their curiosity and arouse their interest. We love talking to our fans and we understand that they are the engine that keeps us developing with such energy.

It's the studio that has a solid foundation of disciplined self-education and self-improvement, as well as a firm grasp of player psychology, and above all else, a commitment to a quality experience that will rise to greatness. To make it to the top, it takes years of blood, sweat, and tears, and there is never any guarantee of success. To succeed in this industry is tantamount to climbing to the top of Mt. Everest, and it's about as likely to happen. We know we're nowhere close to the top of that mountain yet, but we're confident that there are few who are as eager and willing to climb it as we are.

Indie Developers SGS need your help with their kickstarter campaign for Orion Prelude!!

ORION: Prelude is a fast-paced Sci-Fi First-Person-Shooter. It features a retro-vibe, addictive game play, and insanely awesome features such as jetpacks, dinosaurs, and vehicular combat. Our goal at SGS is to remedy the new standard in the videogame industry - predictable game play and achromatic/outright colorless levels and environments.

The team as whole has created a unique game in terms of visual assets. Every detail, down to the last pixel, is infused with color and an unique style we like to call "the Oriony look". Lead by David Prassel, we are working towards a public beta in the summer, and will be releasing our first game on Xbox 360, PS3, and computer in the fall. Sadly, we currently have no money coming into the company and no money going out. This means that no one is being paid, and that we are all doing this passionately simply because we believe in ORION that much.

BUT, we recently joined forces with kickstarter.com - a great website that initiates funding for startup companies, inventors, artists etc! If you are interested in the game, and would like to contribute please go to our kickstarter page (there are some AWESOME rewards for donating, like your own custom character designed specifically for you that will be seen in-game by thousands of players, or something as simple as a signed concept art piece). We are back! December is always crazy - but not that crazy. Lots of families, lots of parties, birthdays, other parties, new years eve, birthdays - just hectic. We are now officially back and want to welcome everyone into the new year - so… welcome!

We at Spiral love games. We love our own games and we love other games. So we would love to play some with you guys. We are officially announcing and scheduling the next Play With Developers sessions of the ORION: Source Multiplayer Beta.

This will provide a great opportunity for any new fans to the ORION game series and for anyone that wants a taste of what they can expect for ORION: Prelude.
