[SoTu] SpeciaL OperAtions TacTical UniT is a group of gamers who understand the meaning of teamwork and respect for the game. They have each others back and share ideas of how to survive a fire fight or last man standing in our favorite game Insurgency. We are not trying to recruit anyone by joining our group, but if you want to be a part of an elite crew, then you would have to show us your skills in combat and teamwork. You have been selected because you show skills in team work and the understanding of a good FPS game.

I, FreeZe, is the founder of the group, but also a avid gamer. I want to learn from each of you, how you do what it is you do. I believe the gamers I invite will follow the code of conduct of being a competitive but respectable gamer. This group is dedicated to Insurgency most of the time, but other game topics are welcomed.

Thursday and Saturday Tactical battle

Yo!!! Just a quick message to my Tactical members. Please read this message carefully. I just want to let everyone know that when I send out a Tactical Invite for Insurgency, I am never upset or mad if you can't attend because we have so much more to do than gaming. Also, sometimes we have other plans (playing another game, family, work or we can be like Spys4Darwin and just want to use our last streaming dollars for porn, hahah) Whatever the reason is, [SoTu] Freeze understands. Because I am deep into other games as well.

But all I ask from some of you, just a handful of my Insurgency brothers and sisters is this...try to lock up a few minutes to drop by the server if you can on either Thursday or Saturday. I am concentrating on a time frame from say... 7-10pm.

The server will be password protected on those days, but unprotected (I can see Spys mind wandering on this unprotected thought) not sex, spys, but the server won't have a password on it on any other day.

Thanks for your time..and I want to thank some of you for making Thursday and Saturday Tactical play so much fun...please share your suggestions on how I can run the server better and what maps you would like to see added to tactical play.

Yo, what up to all my [SoTu] Group Members of our awesome page. I am back with a vengeance and let me tell you what I got in mind. I am here today to share with you something I have been trying to do since, I started playing Insurgency and that is having a day out the week -for some real tactical game play. Let me explain: I am tired of just running around with no plans in Insurgency.

On the days that we can agree upon, and for only about one hour of game play to start, you will be assigned to a unit...Alpha, Bravo, Charlie or Delta. Each unit will be responsible for specific actions of each map...Say first map, Alpha and Bravo is responsible for capturing and destroying points...where Charlie and Delta provide cover fire from flank positions, but not to far away to revive and assist a point that needs to be defended.

In this TacTical play, the mission is to win - if you are about being number one in kills and getting Insurgency accolades, this is not for you. I am interested in people who want to take this awesome game to the level the developers intended.

I am now taking suggestions from you all on days, time and strategies. I have some good players and I will say this now, I am not including some players because I know they are more about running and gunning...you will not be included in this event. I am looking for leaders of 3 units...so far yours truly, [SoTu] Freeze will be Leader of Charlie unit . Also, units might be only 2 or 3 personnel, depending on the participation. On this specific day, you will always join your unit, so if you're are part of bravo unit, you will join bravo unit with you join the server on these special days.

Keep in mind what a true leader is: someone who doesn't use his authority for power. We are all grown, so lets respect the orders given and who says a non leader couldn't suggest an idea. Lets make this fun and exciting. In real world strategic planning, a headphone and mic is required, but I'm willing to let that slide if you can at least communicate quickly via text...we need all comms active.

If your game is crashing, go to settings in insurgency, video and scroll down to paged pool memory, and if its not set on low, set it on low, apply and try that
