RECENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
[EU] 19th August ESL Cologne LAN
NiP vs. CLG

NiP

From what I've been hearing, NiP have really been going hard at bootcamp and progressing as much as possible. As mentioned earlier, the Swedish lineup hasn't performed well at recent LANs. They had a lack luster performance at the FACEIT League Stage 2 Finals and ESWC. While this should be relatively easy win for NiP, don't count CLG out quite yet.

CLG

While CLG seem to perform well against their North American counter parts, they do have somewhat of a rough time closing out matches against any European tier one team. CLG recently attended IEM Gamescon 2015 where they faced off against SK, EnVyUs and TSM .While they did perform well against EnVyUs and TSM, they failed to close it out and went home empty handed not winning a single game. Playing against NiP in their first match-up means the american lineup will really have to showcase their talents. Keep in mind that it is a BO1 and CLG have upset Fnatic in a BO1 in the past.

Summery

This should be a relatively easy win for NiP, but CLG do have the upset potential. Again, keep in mind that it is a BO1 so anything can happen.

Risk: low
My Odds: 75/25 NiP
My Bet: Medium on NiP

Fnatic vs. eBettle

Fnatic

We didn't see much from Fnatic since few weeks, they prepared very hard for this Major. There is not much to say about Fnatic, one of the best, maybe the best team in the world, should be easy game for them against eBettle.

eBettle

eBettle a new polish team who attends their first major, they had some good results in the Qualifier against Titan and LGB, but they are playing against Fnatic, i don't see them winning this.

Summery

Fnatic should win this without any problems, but watch out, bo1 everything can happen! :)

Risk: low
My Odds: 85/15 Fnatic
My Bet: High on Fnatic

Luminosity vs. Kinguin

Luminosity

ex Keyd-Stars, its their second Major, they reached the quarterfinals in Katowice 2015, they did very well the last few weeks against EU teams, if it's Cobblestone or Overpass, i would give the advantage to them..

Kinguin

Kinguin the team with many star players. Its their first major with this lineup, they have a sick t site on all maps, their strats aren't that great, but they should outaim Luminosity pretty easy with ScreaM rain etc.

Summery

This matchup is risky as ♥♥♥♥, Kinguin has the better aimers, but watch out.. bo1 against a sick Team like Luminosity, skip skip skip

Risk: High
My Odds: 60/40 Kinguin
My Bet: Skip

Cloud9 vs. Mouz

Sorry i don't have many time now, i just post my Summery :)

Summery

Cloud9 is overall the better team, they have the better AWPer (Skadoodle) and seangares will counter strat mouz.

Risk: Medium
My Odds: 65/35 Cloud9
My Bet: Medium Cloud9

[EU] 8th Gamescom LAN
Renegades vs. TSM

Renegades

Renegades haven't played up to form at this tournament. Their first match was a 16-2 loss to mousesports which was brutal to watch. The Renegades lineup didn't look amazing at all. Their next match was against TSM. They ended up losing 16-6 and put up a lack luster performance on their T side picking up just 3 rounds. However, they played SK three times and won twice. The scores were 16-10 and 16-14. They even managed to force the third match into overtime. On Friday, they didn't play at all and had a chance to watch other teams and analyze their strats. Renegades definitely have a shot if the map is Cobble or even Cache.

TSM

TSM didn't look too stellar at the beginning of this tournament and even coming in there was some doubts. Their first match they ended up losing to a brand new EnVyUs lineup 16-11. We didn't really know what to expect from both these teams seeing as nV have a new roster and TSM looked inconsistent coming in. However, as this tournament progressed, TSM is starting to get back to the TSM we know. With a pretty convincing win over Renegades we thought they had gotten that spark back. But, they didn't play all that great against CLG winning 16-12 which was very surprising to see. They then played Mousesports and won 16-8 on one of mousesports stronger maps. Their next matches were victories over CLG and SK twice. TSM looked horrid in their first match against SK winning in overtime 19-15, but the map was Cobblestone and TSM aren't all that great on it.

Summery

Obviously maps are a factor here. TSM are very solid on Inferno and Mirage while they seem to struggle on Cobble and Cache. TSM should be able to take this with ease if the map is Mirage or Inferno. If its Dust 2, Overpass, or even Train. It will be a close match, but TSM should be able to take it.

Risk: Medium
My Odds: 80/20 TSM
My Bet: max'n'relax on TSM :D
