Before everything changed, I and my friends had a challenging and prosperous life. We would steal things that could be of good use to us in our survival. Food, blankets. We were of no threat to the city. The soldiers treated us like grains of sand on an endless stretch of beach. That happiness was soon destroyed. Little by little, my friends and I were driven out of that happy,unnoticed life.. and into a more hated one. “Shadow Thieves” they'd call us. “IT was YOU who murdered the king and his beloved family!” This crime that we did not commit changed us.
