Despite being shut down in 2012, apparently a group of people in Russia have somehow brought back Jumpgate Classic. The game is free to play and stable:

I've been playing for a couple of days and am enjoying my time. I don't know if it's something I'll stay with in the long-term, but having people to play with would certainly help.
