SRH - Dead, but not gone

Primary reason for this independent group was to ensure that every known SRH member was connected with everyone else so that in the event of an SRH closure or disruption, we would still be able to contact everyone through this group.

A moderator in this group means the user was a staff member of SRH prior to its 2013 closure.

Scratch that, SRH (as we know it) reboot is dead as of July 2015. Sorry for wasting your time!

SRH is returning. This is completely with my permission and consent.

I will not be running it. Ownership of the community and server is going to pass to Zinc.

However, me and Zinc have agreed that I will provide technical and coding support. Personally I don't want to deal with all the diplomacy and politics that comes with the role of owner but I would enjoy helping out with coding.

I will have no influence on the direction, rules or decisions of the server and community (you will probably be pleased to hear!)

Unfortunately the previous domain has expired and taken over by something unrelated - so we'll need to sort something else out for a website.

Everything is highly provisional at the moment - but watch this space!

Scamming and you, exercise caution.

We have received reliable information concerning a staff member and a recent scam attempt involving impersonation of another higher ranking staff member.

None of this is set in stone, we have yet to examine the facts thoroughly, until then, please exercise caution when a user, or even a staff member, comes up to you asking for donations to SRH. If you have any questions or queries relating to donation to SRH, or if a staff member asks you to donate, please verify that the information you are receiving is genuine and from a reliable source.

We are currently awaiting the staff member's statement on this incident.
