Wow. Created this group over a year ago. We play together, but not a lot through steam. L4D seems to be bringing us together again!

Norm's server has been giving him problems, so I might be bringing one up soon. I just put my old system back together, and all it needs is a PCI-E video card. (no on-board). When I can find a super cheap one, I should be good to go. I am looking for suggestions on the software side though. Norm ran UBUNTU as his server OS. That system currently has XP on it. Which would be better? All I want to be able to do is leave a Vent server up, and maybe a TF2 and COD4 server going. Possible leave a file open for photo sharing and such. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Thanks! By the way... for those of you who didn't go to PDXLAN 11, you missed out on a great time! Lee took home 2 GB of ram, and a couple of hard drive enclosures. We got our asses stomped in the TF2 tourney, but we went out in style. :) I think our main group has 2 full tables reserved for PDXLAN 12, July 18 - 21. You should get a ticket and grab a seat next to our tables. I think Cory (Tildax) is in on this one.
