Gaming at 1080P
With the new 6600XT cards oout there is a bit of focus going back to 1080P for gaming. According to the Steam Survey over 82% of gamers are still gaming at 1080P or less for their resolution.

Do you still game at 1080P and if you do please tell us why...

As I have gotten older I find that higher resolutions can be harder to read without MASSIVE monitors. Even at 32" a 1440 monitor a browser needs to be zoomed to 125% to make things easier to read and when I use apps that do not scale I find myself leaning into the monitor to see.

This has resulted into my moving toward 1080P displays at 27" and 32". I sit a bit further back and there is no pixel issue, plus things are easier to read. For gaming the fact I need less money in my GPU to get amazing frame rates and smooth game play is a huge plus.

I play at 1080p or 3440x1440p depends on the game

I have noticed 2560x1080 seems a nice sweet spot with ultra wide aspect and great performance due to lower resolution.

We are doing some updates to TriXX and the site and are aware the button is not showing. This will be corrected soon.
