Rust Cynical Gaming Server

So just a start to figure out what is most important for starting life in Rust. Things that are required regardless of server.

So ideally what we want in a base would be a large amount of flat space, or gentley sloping that we can spread out our buildings. This allows us to not feel too cramped together, but also to add more people to the community as and when required.

After finding a good spot on land, its pretty important that we are able to find lots of the basic materials. Wood would be the major material that we need right away. It will let us build some rudimentary housing and boxes for us to store our materials early on. I would say top priority for a new start is a lot of wood.

After wood comes stone. Will allow us to upgrade our homes, and provides ores for better items. Will also help with upgrading crafting items like hatchets so we are more efficent. We can also use this for arrows which are some of the most important hunting materials early.

Ideally by this point we can then start looking for blueprints. Ideally we would be getting large boxes, hatchets and pickaxes quickly. Then we want high outside walls for defensive purposes.

At the moment looking at the map on rust.io, I think that locating just north of the dome would be a good area. There is a lot of flat ground if we head closer to the powerplant, and it will give us access to wuite a bit of food over that way as well. All suggestions are welcome, we can scout out areas and see how things look!
