Yes, I know. I am late as ever on this announcement. But for those who don't have alot of info. on the new Halloween stuff, lemme just explain some new stuff going on. There are many new halloween items, such as Voodo-Cursed items that, when 7 are crafted together, make a Pile of Curses. It functions exactly the same as the Pile of Ashes from the Pyromania update. Then there are Voodo-Cursed Class Souls which, when equipped in a misc. slot, turn your character into a zombie counterpart. There are also these Spell you can find in gifts. They do many various things, from making paint on an item change, to giving you burning footsteps. Last, but not least, there is the new Halloween boss, Merasmus. I've defeated him twice, and I can share some tips. USE HUNTSMAN. When you land a crit headshot on him, it deals 1080 damage. Keep spamming them on him, then when he hits about half way health, he will turn into several props. This is just like prop hunt, find the out of place props and shoot them until they disappear. When you destroy the props, he will re-appear, and fight him until he gets to a pinch of health, then he will do the same prop hunt thing. This boss also teleports a lot. I'm not even kidding. Oh, and he will cast a spell on you that turns your head into a giant bomb. What you need to do when this happens is to run into Merasmus. When you do, you will have crits, be ubercharged, and have speed, and Merasmus will be temporarily stunned. Use this to your advantage. When he is defeated, jump into the giant Bombinomicon book that appears where he was defeated. You will be transported to Skull Island, where you can get your very own Skull Island Topper.
