What is Realm of Mistvalin?

Realm of Mistvalin is a overhaul mod for Medieval Engineer's that turns it into a small scale MMORPG. Adding new skills, new stats, player progression, re-do of combat, and much more! We have a server dedicated to the mod and so others can play together in a custom created world for a unique game experience.

Rules:

(1) No Offline Raiding:
If someone is offline, you cannot raid/grief/steal/attack anything upon a claimed territory. Unclaimed territory is up for grabs.

(2) You Must "Declare" Wars
Wars are a formal thing in RoM, something you must verbally communicate to your opponent. If you want to go to war, you must tell that person you're going to war. Their is then a 24 hour wait period untill fighting may begin. No offline attacks, 2+ people must be online for a "battle" to commence. If said faction has 1 person, then it's defaulted to 1 person online.

(3) Keep Faction Names In-character
This means, you cannot name your faction "Super Cool Raiding Team". This is a Light-Role Play server filled with story and emersion. It's important that we have house/faction names that are realistic or 'role play' like. If your faction has a silly name that's not in-character and breaks emersion, it will be changed automatically.

(4) No Inappropriate Names
Please dont use any inappropriate names as your user name or faction. I dont mind chatting having curse words, we're adults. Just dont direct insaults at people.

(5) No Griefing NPC Claims
NPC's play a vital role in the RPG feeling in RoM. If they are removed, then nobody can enjoy the benefits that the mod and server bring. So no picking up small blocks that exist within NPC claims.

Rules will be refined, I just wanted to post some very critical rules first.

RoM Alpha Testing Has Begun!

There is no server at the moment, but we've released the latest version of the Map and Core Mod.

Keep in mind that the Map is still being constructed and is bare-minimum for testing. We're very close to completing things, but we need help squashing the last of these bugs!

It's playable in survival. While not all plants and trees are in, we have the bare-minimum for "Ways of the Nomad". We will be adding more and more plants/trees in the coming weeks as we finish up coding/mapping out all the data (it's a tedious process)

Though with your help development can go faster as we patch up things we didnt notice where broken. With your help we can finish RoM!

Remember to change your planet radius from 5000 to 8333!
