RoD is a DJO gaming division that currently supports Left 4 Dead 2 and the HL2 Mod No More Room In Hell.
There's always the option to add other games, such as DayZ, Minecraft, Killing Floor and Dead Island.

If you like to become a part of the slaughtering division feel free to join us @ http://www.darkjedi.org/club/DCG/enlist. Once 25 members are reached the gaming division becomes a full club and gets it own ranks, graphics and section on the website.

DJO - "The Org" - a brief history and description

Dark Jedi Organization was founded in September 1997 as TFA, the Tie Fighter Alliance, a X-Wing vs Tie-Fighter gaming division. Later on TRA, The Rebel Alliance, joined and that was the beginning of a multi-gaming community.

I joined in November 2003 to play CounterStrike for the Black Marine Corps (BMC), that had more than 300 members from all over the world at that time. Now they shrunk to a tenth of their former membership. Anyways, I joined a whole bunch of "clubs", as the "gaming divisions" were called. The main reason why I joined them was the military style that was lived by the whole organization. Promotions, awards, ribbons that can be viewed at in the own bios and even the staff had a JAG, security section, and so on.

Things changed of course. Less people are willing to accept someone above them and it took people, including me, too long to accept that change. Right now DJO is trying to become a community where new people have it easier. Less to read into but it's still something different. In a good way, though.

Joining the group & joining the team

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who joined this group so far. I understand that mass invites can be annoying but it was the best way of showing this group to 50+ players on my friends list who play L4D2 and/or NMRIH. It's a public group and I want to offer everyone to join the team. I'm also looking for people who play DayZ and who are willing to lead the DayZ section of RoD, if we support it.

Unfortunately DJO (Dark Jedi Org), the mother organization of RoD, can be a bit confusing. The "Org" is around since the late 90's and I joined in 2003. A really fun place until somehow it took a blow a few years ago. Members left and new kids didn't really appreciate the features DJO offers. The staff is trying to make it user-friendly but it's a system that has some unusual rules and ways. To save ressources and work they invented the DCG (DJO Community Gaming) that allows new users - and old ones - to start their own clan/club/squadron, etc. To make sure the request works they transform the new club to a full club once the roster counts around 25. Some more information about that later.

Go to http://www.darkjedi.org/club/DCG/enlist. You'll have to sign up and then you'll have to select Resurrection of Damnation / RoD. Once we're a full club/clan everyone gets transferred and the show begins.
