One very CHILI day, a carrot and a beet were walking together, and the carrot cried, “Why didn’t you call me. I’d BEAN thinking about you, and when you didn’t call, it felt like you didn’t CARROT all!”
The beet said “Sorry, babe, but I had a LEEK in my bathroom (BEETS me how it got there), and I ran out of time. I just want to let you know that OLIVE you from my head TOMATOES and I RELISH our relationship. I’m just glad that you were willing to TURNIP. I must add that you look GOURD-geous today.”
“Oh, Beet,” the carrot blushed. “I knew you loved me! I knew it from the moment you saved me from that awful corn who was STALKing me, and you’re so much better than that pickle I dated who thought he was such a big DILL. LETTUCE run away and get married!”
“I’m sorry,” the Beet said with deep sorrow, “but I CANTALOUPE.”
“ORANGE you going to regret it?” the carrot asked.
“Yes,” the beet said, “BERRY much.”
