Hey Everyone!

I am totally excited for the online party now! I just spent my day finalising all the real life stuff and I CANNOT WAIT to chill with you guys after!

In preparation for the event tomorrow, here's is a checklist of things to do:

- Make sure you have Garry's Mod installed (or ask me if you need a copy)
- Make sure you have the content pack installed (Spec or Slip, please comment with link below)
- Hop onto the server and check you can log in and that everything is working (i.e. not black and magenta squares and no giant walking talking errors)
- Make sure you have a working mic and/or keyboard (so I can talk to you in game duh)
- Ensure you are stocked up on food and alcohol for the duration of the event


In the unfortunate event things go wrong:

- Hop onto my discord https://discord.gg/Ssx97Ht and scream at me, PromethianMX or Slip in #help_desk
- Comment below with a back up game preference e.g. Jackbox
- Buy more booze

It seems Steam has set the event times to ADST. Which is UTC +11.
Please convert for your timezone.

The event at the restaurant finishes at 4pm local so I will be home and online maybe an hour after that.

Hey there folks,

If you don't know me, my name is Spec and I'm one of the people tasked with organising what will (hopefully) be a really fun virtual birthday party. This is basically a 'be prepared' announcement for the party.

The party itself will be taking place on Garry's Mod (https://store.steampowered.com/app/4000/Garrys_Mod/), costing about $14.99 NZD if you don't have it already. Further details including the Server IP and the Content Pack will be coming shortly, as soon as they've been finalised and polished up.

I have a lot of messages saying people can't see the group or events.

I honestly don't know why, but MY GUESS is that you cannot see the details cos you need to be in the group.

There are two events logged on the events page. An IRL event and an online event.

If you have been given a link, please click to request invite as you were given a link cos I don't have your steam.

Also, join the chat room to speak to everyone about things.
