It's been long overdue, in fact it's never been done before except for when I started this community back in 2009, where I thought the TF2 logo looked cool enough to steal and make into the logo of a TFC revival group, and use nothing more than the most basic/preset features of Photoshop to make it 'unique'.

But 12 years later, here it is after popular-ish demand - the group now finally has a brand new logo! Made completely from copyright-free vectors and no stolen things, the logo has a far more modern and game-y look to it, and best of all - it has a completely custom-made TFC logo in it now!

Let me know what you all think, and as usual I appreciate you all hanging on throughout these years and helping us keep TFC thriving!

Happy Halloween everyone! What would be the best way to celebrate these spooky festivities? By re-opening the Xmas server early of course! With Xmas re-makes of TFC classics and even a few new Xmas maps.

Bots included, non-Steam accessible as always, and best of all - TFC activates a special Xmas mode on 25th December, which I have manipulated to run everyday on our Xmas server! This includes occasional 'present' grenades and an audible Xmas announcement every 5 minutes, with a quote on-screen of moments from the good ol' days.

I was considering a Halloween event of some kind, but couldn't think of any TFC maps that had Halloween decorations. I could've hosted a scary map event, but I guess I only thought about that now and it's probably too late now (if anyone else wants to host an event on our Discord server with area49 or some other scary map, feel free!)

I remember as a kid I actually hosted a homemade Halloween entmap on the AdminOP server, back in 2007 or so. I changed the skybox to a dark one, placed orange lights and Halloween models and designed rooms specifically for chilling, and people had to apply scary skins before they could enter etc. https://i.imgur.com/PnxzEaS.jpg

I have spent the day working on a concmap server. I have moved most of the relevant maps from the FUN server to the concmap server (let me know if I missed any). This has also heavily decreased the amount of maps on the FUN server so if you have any map suggestions that I should add to the server, I would love to hear them! Discussions welcome on the #just-chilling section.

The concmap server has a concussion effect blocker to stop the dizzying effect when you get blasted by a conc, as well as a blast blocker to stop pushing other people away with your concs, ensuring a seamless concing experience!

And best of all, there includes a leaderboard with a speedrun ball so that you can try become the fastest concer on the server. Commands such as /top5 in chat will show who has completed the most maps, and who is overall the best on the server - so join now and get concing!

I would like to thank Killcrazy and Chairs for their endless help with administrating the servers, keeping them active and helping me out with any queries I've asked them for. Without them these servers would not be where they are now!

In the last few weeks our servers have been quite active, with Chairs releasing his very first conc map and sharing it with the community, and with Killcrazy helping me out with map-finding and contributing towards the activity of the servers!

Fresh from the archives, I'm happy to announce a newly-created NeoTF server, which I look forward to experiencing once again. I've seen requests for vanilla servers to be created, and currently our FLiP SiDe and NeoTF servers (which are both Steam and 'No-Steam' compatible) are very vanilla - so in the meantime these can be used for such purposes.

A huge thanks to Chairs and Killcrazy for everything they've done thus far, and an even bigger thanks to the community for sticking around if indeed you still are!
