Satoru Iwata, December 6, 1959 - July 11, 2015

Satoru Iwata, former president of Nintendo, died on July 11, 2015 due to Bile Duct growth. Iwata did not attend E3 2014, took some time off for health reasons last year and had surgery to remove a tumor, returning later in the year. He was known for leading the company to huge success with the DS and Wii, and formally worked for HAL, contributing to games like Earthbound, Balloon fight and the Kirby series. Satoru Iwata was an influential man at one of our favorite video game companies who died at a young age. Rest in peace, Satoro Iwata. You will stay in the hearts of gamers forever.

Hi all. I know this group is hardly active, but I feel like I should post something since two years ago today (the 11th) Satoru Iwata tragically passed away. Even though it's been two years, I still find it hard to believe he is gone. Thank you for everything, Mr. Iwata. I only wish you could've seen the future. You would be so proud.

I want a Switch for myself, I have no idea how to sign up a Japanese Nintendo account but I have seen the list of games I'd buy. I enjoy the Mother series, Japan is so culturally different
