We play on the Rangers Gaming Community server. A public server available to anyone wishing to have fun, play in challenging environments, and put up with software that is VERY CLEARLY in the "alpha" stage of development.

THE SERVER HAS BEEN WIPED AND RESTARTED FOR ALPHA 6!

This server has customized words.
This server will wipe starter planets and PvE Only systems on the first of each month, so get to the stars as quick as you can, and build you a permanent base of operations!
All other planets and PvP systems will NOT be wiped.
This server supports PvE, and PvP.

This server has the following startup planets (subject to change):

Akua
Masperon
Ningues
Omicron

The startup planets may change as the game is developed, and planets are populated.

Server is backed up hourly.
Server restarts and patching at 4:00am CENTRAL.

Hackers/Cheaters will be, AND HAVE BEEN, banned upon detection.

The server admin will listen to well thought out suggestions for event ideas, new planet configurations, etc. (if you can provide your own YAMLs for your ideas, even more better!).

Yes, I'm sure a few of you have been wondering just where the heck the server had gone.

Well I'll tell you, my little box was just struggling too much, and after a few years of administrating the game, I needed a break.

However, one of our fellow players, Gasbandit, has since purchased a REAL server and has been setting up an instance of Alpha 8, and he's going to be making it available tonight, at ~9:00pm central.

His server can be found by searching on "Halforums" in the multiplayer option.

Going to Give Stuff to Players Stuck on Akua to Get them Off Planet

Been having bizarre issues with Akua that have slowed down many of your attempts to acquire enough to get quit of the planet.

I'm going to try and be online and just 'gift' CV's and resources to get your asses off Akua so I can finally wipe it (and probably ALL the other PvE starter worlds and moons) and maybe resetting the damn thing will fix the 'myseriously disappearing shit' syndome we've had.

Pretty sure they still have the meteorite deletion thing malf'd and it's kickin' all y'alls butts.
