To Be fair, you really have to have a very high IQ to understand Meet the Heavy. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a firm grasp of the Source Engine physics most of his potential will go right over the typical gamers head. There’s also the Heavy’s thicc ass which is deftly woven into his characterisation- His ass is heavily focused on in the domination quotes that other classes have against him, "You’re precious sandvich won’t save you now”, for instance. Heavy mains understand this stuff; they have the mental capacity to understand that depths of his ass, to realise that his ass isn’t just fat- that it says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Meet the Heavy ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance,the Heavy’s existential catchphrase “pootis” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian Epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Gabe Newell’s genius unfolds before itself on their computer screen. What fool’s…. How I pity them.

And yes, by the way, I DO have a naked Heavy tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid
