Welcome to Prometheus Raffle Group!

This group allows you to raffle your items with the other group members.

Here's how it works:

You first talk to an administrator about posting a raffle. Prove that you have the item in your inventory, but do not trade it to us. We don't want the responsibility of holding onto your valuable items. Then tell us what you think it's worth, and we'll decide how many slots and how much each slot costs. When all the slots are filled, we essentially buy the item off of you for the combined value of the slots purchased. We take one slot's value as finder's fee for hosting the raffle. This also ensures to those buying slots that it is in our best interest not to scam you. Why would we ruin a good thing?

Why to use the raffling system:
Say you have an item worth 20 keys. Most players don't have enough pure to pay for that item, and you have trouble selling it. So, you raffle it. People can instead have a shot at getting the rare item that they would otherwise not have. We pay you 20 keys in a 21 slot raffle, and you're able to sell your normally expensive item to the general population of the group.

There are only a few rules, so please take the time to read them:

1. Do not ask to raffle items for more than they're worth. Don't claim an item is worth 60 keys when it's worth 20. Otherwise, the risk/reward ratio for people buying the slots is terrible.

2. Do not ask to raffle items that are incredibly inexpensive, like craft hats or (God forbid) crates, because they're just too inexpensive. Anyone can get it. The point of this is bring a chance at expensive items to players who would otherwise not be able to.

3. Use steam trade offers to buy slots. Please post a comment with the trade offer as to which raffle you are purchasing for. Your trade will be declined if you do not comment which raffle you are attempting to buy slots for. You can buy as many slots as you want. First come, first serve.

4. Do not trade away an item once you've posted the raffle. If you don't have the item when the raffle is complete, you will be banned and reported.
