This steam group has been created in order to create a friendly environment in which steam users can engage in polite discussion about matters involving religion and/or supernatural phenomena. This group is primarily aimed at those who wish to enter into a discussion on religion and all are welcome to join.

We should strive to maintain a friendly environment that is accomodating for all people, and should constantly stress the importance of maintaining a fair and equal platform for all to speak their minds, no members or theories should be favoured and none should be discriminated against. We must all respect each other and each others opinions, and have made it clear in the beginning of discussions that the only thing that is to be questioned is the argument at hand.

Members of this group should be guided by the pursuit of truth, through calm and rational discussion and debate.

Things that are NOT acceptable:

- Intentional logical fallacies for the purpose of aggravating the opposing speakers. (Trolling)

- Character assassination, or name calling. Your opinions on the nature of the opposing speaker do not bear weight on the opposing speakers arguments.

- This group is open to all ages, so please keep swearing to a minimum.

Please keep in mind that this groups purpose is to provide a platform for discussion for the philosophy of religion, not for any specific side, though atheism may make up a majority, theistic positions will be given equal weight and time in discussions, and pantheists/deists/theists should be encouraged to join this group, as this will help stimulate discussion and ultimately lead to some great discussions.
