ABOUT Pawn Share and Care Club

Dragon's Dogma Pawn Share and Care Club

Club Rules and Etiquettes

1) Be friendly and respectful!
This club is not about who has the best or most effective pawn, it is about a community of people who has spent a great deal of time shaping and caring for their pawns and wish to share that love with other pawns while learning how to better improve their own.

2) Be active!
If you are actively posting on the threads or chatting up a storm in the group chat, there is a much greater chance for you to be noticed and your pawn hired as opposed to someone who makes a single post and disappears into the shadows. It is also considered good etiquette to rent back the pawn of a member who has rented yours.

3) Hiring a higher level pawn
Should you wish to hire a pawn that is of a higher level, you can always try to send a friend request and if a member decides to accept it you can hire their pawn for free! Though do take note that hiring a pawn that is of a higher level will incur an exp penalty, likewise if you hire a pawn of lower level you will gain an exp bonus!

4) Releasing pawns
When releasing a pawn it is good etiquette to send a small parting gift with a good rating. It doesn't matter if its a set of dragonforged equipment or a cedar branch, it is the thought that counts! Remember that our members has spent a great deal of time on their pawns and it would really make their day to receive a small gift and a 5 star rating to get their pawns more exposure.

5) Getting a pawn killed in battle
Should ill fate befall on your rented pawn worry not! Though it is generally bad etiquette to send a rented pawn back in a bodybag you can always make up for the terrible tragedy by rehiring the pawn that died and releasing again with a gift and good rating.

6) Book of Pawns!
We keep track of members pawns with a spreadsheet called the book of pawns. Please go to our steam group's subforum Book of Pawns to check and post your pawns info for us to update your pawn into the sheet! It will also help greatly if you could copy and paste your pawn's info and post it in our club thread in DD discussions so our thread won't get buried!

7) Favouriting pawns
If your friend's list is getting full but you still wish to have easy access to the clubs pawns you can always add our members to your friends list, favouriting their pawns then deleting them off your friends list. That way you can have up to 100 favourited pawns and still have space in your friends list! It is good etiquette to send a message to inform the member you are removing them from friends and have favourited their pawn as your list is full.

*Do join us in the group chat! It is a great way to make friends with our members and get your pawn hired quickly!

Now that you mention it, I can see how people might think that from my little intro. Erwin is indeed very lovely, but part of the survey corp.
