PG-MS COUNTRY CLUB MONTHLY STROKEPLAY TOURNAMENTS BEING PLANNED

Despite a lack of any Tour score reporting framework as yet with Perfect Golf, plans are being drawn up to allow players to compete in monthly one-venue tournaments where you can play the level of player assist you wish, but where your final position on the leaderboard and level of play will decide your points won for the event.

The Tour events will consist of 36-hole events, split into four 9-hole rounds.

Players using from zero to one assist - e.g. off/off, off/min or min/off will form the 'Masters' category. Other categories are Tour Pro (a total of 2 to 3 assist 'credits'), Club Pro (4 to 5), and Amateur, playing with all assists on (6 in total).

Prize pots for each category rise by 50% between each ability level, and additionally the total number of participants at your chosen playing level also contribute to a 'bonus' dependent on the depth of competition within each category.

PG-MS-Country.club's 'social' match format, and this week's match results

The format of matchplay at http://pg-ms-country.club is a little different from the ladder format used elsewhere.

The matches the membership play are arranged in a 'League' format, with winners scoring 3 points and losing players gaining one point for their activity on the league.

The 'League' is arranged so that all players play each other once. Duplicated matches are not counted. This promotes the social aspect of what the club hopes to bring to your Perfect Golf experience, putting you in contact with new friends as you strive to become the seasonal champion.

To put it simply, win as many matches against as many of the members as possible to place highest.

This week our matches were kicked off by Fairwayman scoring a 5 & 4 victory over Aspyre.
