What's up kiddies!

It seems I'm somewhat stuck in a dilemma - Ever time I download Dota 2 and eventually pause the update it seems it resets and I have to restard the entire process all over again (download 4.7Gb from scratch) which is kind of pissing me off :/.

Has anyone had the same issue or know of any kind of fix?
