The Otaku Shogunate

A samurai country in far foreign lands from Japan. Their population is tiny compared to the other lands. The country is plagued with economic difficulties but they have magic casters who are known as chuunibyou. Their magic is yet to be seen by the world and is thought to be top secret despite their clear display of magic incantations. The country also has very little to offer compared to the larger neighboring countries, they could only offer counselling and refuge.

A fairly new country, the country was established by its founder as a respite from the troubles outside the lands of Anime. The lands the country was established on is an area that has been unclaimed by others. Today the country stands as a testament to the growing population of otakus in countries outside of Japan.

The country is a shogunate meaning its an oligarchy. The shogun at top with the officers promoted through meritocracy. They are politically moderate and does not have extreme leanings.

Their technology is fairly modern but not quite as high end compared to other lands. Due to its tiny population they do not do any research themselves and relies on others for its technology and research.

Its people live with various cultural practices but is heavily influenced by anime and manga. They are a little awkward/shy to strangers but they are very friendly. Speaks English but they can understand some Japanese words through exposure, though not anywhere close to speakable Japanese.
