Basically created this group as an alternative to sending a major amount of messages everytime I make a private giveaway on steamgifts.

Update: For the timebeing, as the Steamgifts site isn't working well for me, I'll be holding any giveaways I make via thread. Hope that won't be too confusing...

You don't have to make giveaways in this group, but I don't want to keep anyone from making a giveaway to pass on some good fortune they ( hopefully) received themselfs. However, personally I'm already in several steamgifts groups, some of which feature a very nice crowed. So I rather leave the random bundle games ( as good as they might be) and similar gifts to those groups ( mainly to keep a low maintainance for this group). For me this is meant to be the group where I might gift a more expensive and/or what I deem a fantastic game, that people might not have much of a chance to get in other giveaway groups, but really would like to play at that time ( yeah, I know, hard to tell, but that's the intention at least).

Suppose I'm meant to make some rules so everything goes smooth in case someone other than me makes a giveaway for the group, so here it goes:

- you don't have to make a giveaway at anytime in this group. Please don't feel obliged to make a giveaway for whatever reason unless you really want to and think this is the best suited steamgifts group for that particular giveaway.
- please subscribe to the giveaway thread, so you will get a notification when a new giveaway is posted.
- no private profile. You must have set your profile to friends only and be friends with me at least (public profiles are fine too), so I can see your wishlist and check your gamelibrary if needed.
- make it easy on the gifter and keep your wishlist in order of most wanted ( especially the 1st 10 or so games on your wishlist).
- please be polite and leave a comment when you enter a giveaway.
- please only enter for games that you plan to play soon there after, so you don't take the chance away from someone else that has been wanting to play the game badly.
- when you win, make it easy for the gifter, set your profile to public or sent a friend request to the gifter. Once you redeemd the game mark it as received on steamgifts and, again, be polite, thank the gifter and let him/her know you received the gift.
- Note: a gift is considered redeemed after it has been added to your gamelibrary, not once it's been placed in your inventory.
- don't be greedy, if you've have just won some new gem and others seem interested in the giveaway, let them have their chance.

Giveaways will be made by me from time to time, don't worry if there isn't one for a while, it's not meant to be a regular thing.

If someone missbehaves or seems like a scammer, please let me know. Do keep in mind that I might not be able to respond to you right away as I'm not on Steam all the time.
