So for those who doesn't know what Dungeon Defenders II is, it's a tower defense mixed with rpg elements where you place defenses and defeat enemies while gathering and equipping loot found in-game. There's currently only 4 heroes, warrior, ranger, wizard, monk each bringing a unique play style to the team, however a summoner class is about to be introduced "Abyss Lord".

We've got a few members that are interested in playing and I'd like to make an announcement that sometime early next month this hero will be released. I'm guessing, somewhere between 2nd - 10th of april. If you're interested, then download the free to play game and we'll get some groups ready and able to play along side the new hero when he's out!

If you can't participate this event, it's okay.. we'll always be rotating games.

Hey, so we've decided to not shove the website down everybody's throat for now since it's still a small community. I think at a later stage we'd appreciate everybody signing up and bringing activity there as it's more convenient to share thoughts and opinions about games, and general forum posts where as we initially intended steam group to be a place to organise game events and to announce the games we'd be playing which would also end up on the forums.

We understand that some users don't like posting, or putting the effort into creating a forum board account; so it's entirely optional from this point on until we accumulate more concurrent users at a later date.

Answer: Ideally we wanted to organise a community where we could utilise the forum boards for posting about upcoming games, general discussions about ourselves, which could be anything in between gaming and personal information. We could also integrate twitch which we've already done to allow people to hop onto the website to find out when our users were live. Those who aren't on the steam group looking for us to join, a website would be more appropriate since most; would "google information about communities" searching on their website where they hold more information about who they are, and what they're about. Unfortunately steam only manages to capture the gaming spectrum, where as in my opinion a forum would be more useful for everything general and game related, including donations to help events take place later down the track such as game giveaways.

In closing..
It may sound like there's not much difference; but if you visit the forums and see our set up you'd see that there's a lot more to it than a group created on steam. (albeit - some may argue too much for a community based on steam players, but still it's a nice place to have a hub of information and do more than just game related things.)

Hey, I've been noticing people have been active chatting over PM steam, and team speak but nobody here has moved to the forums besides Innykin, Moogle & Brudda.

Would appreciate everybody signing up and creating some posts to get some activity and discussion's going there.

Sorry to say, but it's becoming mandatory if you wish to continue being in the group; we just would like to have more numbers showing on the group and on the forums to entice new viewers to sign up and give us a try.
