NXT stands for "Neue eXotische Test einheit" which translates to new exotic test unit, it was formed for special operations.

Roleplay background:
This is the first unit of the battalion NXT. NXT was an undercover battalion launched by Bismarck himself in 1910. An old book supposedly owned by Bismarck says about a group, which could be the NXT battalions ancestor. The group established Kingdom of Rhodesia in 1410. Under the second world war an unknown heir to the throne led the battalion and sabotaged on the allies and the axis as the heir never liked the idea of nazism. Under the cold war they worked with the Rhodesian government to make them recognized by other countries, with more unconventional ways. A renowned member called Ghost died by a russian sniper in the arctic region in 2014. The mission was to take down a nuclear powered ship that started from Murmansk and destination was Canada. In 2016 there was a huge chemical outbreak in New york, few of our soldiers who worked under cover for the USA were activated for directive 51, the squad was known as Noble Squad, since then no word has reached the hq. The battalion was a secret until 2017 it was reorganized by ATLAS and now serves as a private military company. The unit nowadays contains elite ex-soldiers from the Navy Seals, OMON, 501st airborne battalion and Delta squad. In 2056 the Mars wars broke out the whole civilization on marz wiped out and 3 of our squads. The Unit was abandoned year 2093 as the Team leader got shot in the heart but survived. The most soldiers trained in the unit then made their own corps in the Grand Galactic Army. A whole battalion went missing year 3034.

C.Z.A.C.C. or Catastrophic Zombie Apocalypse Cleaning Crew also called the "Wolfs squad" is a sub-unit.

There can be many abbriviations between emblems as other sub-squads can have their own and even the soldiers to symbol their take on the action.
