ABOUT Stop the TPP law

We need to stop TPP before it's too late!

For those unaware, the Trans-Pacific Partnership is a trade deal between twelve pacific rim countries. It is also a total bastardisation of the copyright system, created by a coalition of big corporations to protect their interests. The 'Fair Use' law will be restricted or outright removed, so you can all kiss goodbye to your fan-art, fanfiction, and most of all fangames. They don't own the full rights? Doesn't matter. If you upload something that could 'potentially affect their profits' (note the vague wording there), they can take you to court and sue you. This deal would effectively destroy the internet as we know it. YouTube would likely have to shut down, and the Internet Service Provider you are with would be forced, yes, not recommended but FORCED to police your searches and ensure you weren't so much as thinking of infringing copyright.
This is corporate tyranny, and we cannot just sit back and watch it happen. If you don't want to sit back and have the things you love stripped away from you, voice your concerns. Public awareness was all that stopped SOPA and it's all that can stop this deal, which is actually quite a lot worse.
Sorry for the heavy topic but I felt it was something the sub should be aware of.

THIS WILL AFFECT YOUTUBE, SOCIAL MEDIA, FAN FICS, COSPLAYS, FAN ART. SO IT WOULD KILL REDDIT, YOUTUBE, DEVIANTART, PERHAPS FACEBOOK AND MANY OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES. WE WOULD HAVE NOTHING. WE NEED TO STOP IT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. SPREAD THE WORD OF TPP.

Hello, everyone! It's the daily announcement of 14/02/2016 with news about the TPP.
Maori Party co-leader Marama Fox (A New Zealand Politician who's a representative of the Maori Party) is talking to the Government about ensuring the TPP won't affect the protection of the environment. She says the Maori party is not against trade, but it wants fair trade. The TPP does not include Environmental Safety, which is why Miss Fox is wanting to talk to the Government about this part of the Partnership.
House Speaker for the American Government, Paul Ryan, said that the TPP deal doesn't have enough votes to pass Congrass right now. The President already signed it, however. This means that there's still time in America to vote against it, and the more votes that comes in, the more it gets delayed. Keep it up!
Corporation PR Flacks ( Flacks are Public Agents ) tried to convince a group of protesters that the TPP will benefit them. The Protestors just got louder. This is both a good and a bad thing. It shows that the Corps are well aware of the protesting and are now trying to do something to attack it. But on the same-hand, protestors are going to get flak for not willing to listen to reason. (Even if that reason is mostly lies)

Hello, everyone! It's the daily announcement of 13/02/2016 with news about the TPP.

Andrew Robb (A Minister for Trade and Investment in Australia) is keen to finish big things as trade minister, but indicates that the TPP probably won't be one of them. This means that it's very likely he won't be signing the TPP in his career. He is 64 years old.
Robb did, however, confirm the ratification (Ratifcation means officials confirming something) of the Trade Agreement in Australia.
The TPP is going to stall climate change action Meaning that the environment is going to suffer even more
Cancer Patients Zahara Heckscher and Hannah Lyon were arrested at the headquarters of the Pharma lobby for protesting. Their protesting was about the death sentence that the TPP will cause in Mentally and Physically ill people who require medication. What backed-up the protest was Phmara's Martin Shkreli who had unapologetically jacked up medicine prices from 13.50 to 750 per tablet. Basically the TPP would would lock in Policies that allow Price Gouging, but requires all TPP-Signed Governments to provide Monopoly rights allowing Drug Companies to charge however much they want.
Soichi Yamashita, a 79-year-old famer in a small town in Saga Prefecture (Japan) claims that farmers would be even more vulnerable to risks unless they expand into a Factory-Driven farm. This means less healthly food for the people in Japan, as well as any small Farmer to get hurt by the TPP
