Answer: Most likely because the admins of this group have not had a presesnce at Tech since 2009. I am still here physically but I am not a Techie anymore; the others are gone. Unfortunatly steam groups does not let non-founder-admins assign new admins to a group (as far as I can tell) otherwise I would gladly re-structure the group to reflect the ranking officers as admins where they could announce events, schedule gaming sessions and other sociable items. Non-founder admins can do most other stuff though. So if people need into this group, get me their steam tags and I will get them in. Ditto if you need announcements until steam groups allows non-founder-admins to restructure groups or until the founder does it. Long post but I hope that answered your question.

Question: why has nobody posted a new event since 2009? Also, why aren't we using this to advertise the club to techies on Steam? LAN club doesn't have to game together only during LAN parties, and people who play with us OL might want to game IRL more.
