Shouldn't you be studying?

The Steam Group for any gamers in the Class of 2019 at NJIT. Because who says college students can't have down-time?

Anyone that's a member of the group can schedule their own events! (Just don't abuse this power.)

If you want to help out with managing the group, send a message to the higher-ups in it. Check out the Announcements section for some stuff to get you familiar with the group's operations and policies and such. The first post there talks about that kind of stuff. Commenting in the "What games do you all like to play?" discussion in the "Popular Discussions" section below this will help decide which games will be played most often during group-wide gaming sessions.

Two quick announcements

1.) I just got The Jackbox Party Pack (1) earlier today, thanks to the Summer Sale, so if you want to play You Don't Know Jack (2015), Word Spud, Lie Swatter, Fibbage XL or Drawful, let me know and I'll schedule an event for it.

2.) I'm going to make a Discord Server for the group in mid-July. Another announcement will be posted once I get it all set up.

Gaming session #2!

Okay, so I know it's been a long time since we've had a gaming session, and I'm sorry for that. But I think it's safe to say that we have commons to blame for that. But now I'm rambling.

Anyway, the second NJIT2019 Gaming Session will be held sometime this weekend (Saturday, 10/24-Sunday, 10/25). We'll be doing all kinds of stuff in Gmod, such as Prophunt, Trouble in Terrorist Town, Hide-and-seek, Bobsled, and whatever anyone in the session suggests. If you don't already have Gmod, by all means, go buy it. It's currently $10, and it's well worth the money you pay for it. Also, be sure to find and install the Counter Strike: Source assets from online if you don't have CS:S in your library. Otherwise, you'll see errors everywhere in the levels (Just look for a walkthrough on how to install them online).
The session will probably be held in the Cypress Lounge. That way, we don't have to worry about getting a dedicated server and we'll be able to do the session like a LAN Party.

So, simply put:
1. Gmod gaming session sometime this weekend.
2. Before the session, make sure you buy Gmod if you don't already have it.
3. Also, make sure you install the Counter Strike: Source assets to avoid bright pink and black levels.
4. Go to the Cypress Lounge so that we can all play in the same room.

The exact time and date of the session will be posted closer to the weekend. I'll probably post that sometime on Friday evening.
