The Mouseless Play curator identifies games that can be played on a keyboard without a mouse, influenced by their own desire to be able to select games that can be played comfortably on a laptop on the go.

There are a few categories that games will be labelled with.

Majorly playable means the game could be started and played with no apparent issues. Issues are limited to minor accessibility problems such as non-essential menu navigation requiring a mouse.

Requires configuration can be played without major issues, but requires some setup, such as binding hotkeys.

Moderately playable can be played, but there are some minor elements that may require a mouse.

Minorly playable can be played, but there are some major elements that may require a mouse.

Games that can not be played without the need for a mouse to be on the screen or have major issues with gameplay without a mouse will not be given a review. The purpose is to discover games that can be played without a mouse, not categorize games that can not.

Games are tested on a surface level, usually taking no more than 30 minutes of play-testing. This allows the curator to test a larger variety of games, but means they can not foresee issues that might come up later in the game.
