When looking for a game, make sure you're on the same page.

Most of the people I play with use the 1.50 launcher found on the steam forums (moo2mod.com). If you're not using that, or need help setting it up, please mention as much.

Please mention if it's a competitive game or a casual one.
Competitive games usually (but not always) follow these guidelines:
-No AI players.
-Smaller galaxies.
-Strong races (UniTol, UniAqua2Prod, or DemoLith are a few examples)
-Omniscient/Trading/Warp Interdictors banned, games rarely reach past turn 150.
