King Yosef

Formed within the US during the mid 2010's which was around the time the industrial revival was happening and a boom of artists exploded into the scene. King Yosef got his chance to shine and collab with Youth Code before going solo. His unique blend of industrial metal is slightly different from the rest as he takes hardcore to even hip hop influences into his music.

Cardinal Noire

(Electro-Industrial Metal)

Formed in the mid 00s, the band took their influences from the likes of Canadian electro-industrial groups Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly. And it really sounds like it but with distorted guitar samples and music-like structures.

Asphyxiated

(Brutal Death Metal)

United States

Asphyxiated are a Death Metal band from the USA. I haven't been able to find a lot about the band online, so I can't really give you any info there, although I read somewhere that they're most likely NYC-based.

"Reborn in Evil" is their only release so far, a short 15 minutes EP worth listening to for its fun riffs and strong vocal performance.
I'm a fan of those low, grunting and hollow sounding vocals common in Brutal Death, and on this release in particular I think they work very well with the slow parts in songs like the title-track.
There is a bit of Dehumanized worship in that EP, so if you're a fan of them I would suggest checking this out as well.

Just has some banger riffs, what else is there to wish for with a BDM release?

Omnicidal Instinct

(Brutal Death Metal)

Oh hey, another Brutal Death band with a single EP under their belt.
Omnicidal Instinct plays a much faster and aggressive style of BDM than Asphyxiated, the band I shared above.
"Catharsis in Blight", their debut EP, is a pretty strong release, with a lot of very melodic riffs which is surprising for the genre.
The opener, Anthropocene Knell Beckons, would be a good example for this, displaying rhythmic riffing with a more melodic finish.

I was surprised to see the drummer of turkish Cenotaph being on this album, as those guys are one of the most famous turkish death metal bands I know of.

Highly recommended for fans of the genre.
