Maverick has a group?: The Group

First off, I've finally gotten off my ass and stopped using Source like some valvedrone ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Second off, Alpha Quadrant has OFFICALLY switched (and is STAYING) on Unreal Engine 3. While one might make the observation that this could possbily present the event of terrible model lighting, this could be circumvented by dimming the models and giving them their own light source to help control lighting in scenes better.

So guys, it's time to get this ♥♥♥♥ into gear. One central gameplay mechanic for AQ is the DualTri (working title), or better put, the main character being an android and ♥♥♥♥ can now have 3 weapons per arm. This is intended to lead to a ton of mix up options and crazy gameplay styles, similar to the Devil May Cry or Marvel vs Capcom series.

Third, Armor customization has been amped up. Now, armor buffs will stack. So having head, legs, forearms, hands, body, and buster all having +15% speed will lead to a 90% speed buff, for example. You can mix and match buffs to match your playstyle. The body part for armor will also lead to abilities. For example, let's say Example Armor "Aerial Rave IV" has the Jetpack and Missile Guideance attachments. This means your missiles will track targets either with lock-on or manual guide (think the HL2 Rocket Launcher), and you can fly for crazier movement chances.

Fourth, I'm taking character designs, voice demonstrations, models, ideas, hell, ANYTHING for Alpha Quadrant. There's only so much some middle class guy can do when he's busy not paying for things.

Finally, with some interesting work with the Unreal SDK, there is a very small chance that I might be able to port this to PS3 as well as PC. That's a CRAZY dream of mine, but it might just become a Smokin' Sick Stylish reality.
