This one hurts me...
J.D. Martinez WILL miss multiple weeks, and even possibly APRIL from a lisfranc ligament sprain in his right foot.
That hurts, but he is still open for selection, but will lower his value and picking him up in the draft should be lower in the rounds.
Trevor Rosenthal, CL for the STL. Cardinals: WILL be on the 10-day Disabled list to start the season. (Right Lat Strain)
Adrain Beltre, 3B, TEX. Rangers: May miss opening day, but not longer with Right thigh Tightness.
David Price, SP, BOX Red Sox: It turns out the same injury may have worsened, but BOS. is not taking any chances. David price WILL miss at least 1 month, and maybe even miss some games in May. Beware if thinking of picking him.
Do Not Select is highly recommended.
Ian Desmond is to have Hand Surgery and his Timetable back is uncertain, but it may be an extended period. BE VERY CAUTIOUS if you choose him in the draft.
Ok... thanks.
1) Sonny Gray, SP: (Athletics) MAY return in April due to a Moderate Lat Strain, so beware...
2) Michael Brantley LF: (Indians) He is Possible for Opening day with that right biscep surgery, so that is good news.
3) Jason Kipnis 2B: (Indians) This may be bad news... Hey is POSSIBLE for April based off a right rotator cuff strain. Be careful if choosing him right now. (Not saying don't pick him, but you're choice.
4) David Price SP: (Red Sox) If this guy is not healthy, then it is a blow to fantasy owners. However, he says he is getting suprisingly better quickly. Nevertheless... According to MLB Injuries, he is POSSIBLY for April with left arm and elbow soreness, so glad it isn't bad right now.
5) Salvador Perez C: (Royals) He is questionable right now, but is is POSSIBLE for opening day with a left knee inflammation.
Thanks.
Xonics.
