Group for new Monster Hunter newbies and their tutors

don't mind the name, this started as a World group but has since expanded, and steam doesnt allow group name changes.

If you are new to the game, or are interested in teaching newbies yourself, this is your group.

Rules are simple:

Be Nice

Don't take the quests too seriously

Tutors, please use equipment appropriate to the quest rank, we're here to teach, not to carry. No MR gear in LR or HR quests etc.

no tribalism please, keep discussions about the pros and cons of the different games civil.

Please don't use cheat mods while tutoring. I personally use some balance mods that I don't consider cheats, so there is a little bit of wiggle room here. generally don't use anything that can unbalance the hunt for others, so no god weapons or invincible armor etc. If you aren't sure if a mod you use is a problem then just ask. obviously we don't care what you use when playing solo or with randoms.

Tutors are encouraged to help any newbies they see online, likewise newbies are encouraged to seek out any online tutors for advice and help.

Trolls and bots will be removed. You will not be warned. An explanation will not be given.

joining group chat seems like it has a bug, copy the group url into your internet browser and entering group chat from there should work. there is also a link to the chat in pinned topics that works.
