This group is for the Resident Evil 4 campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 being developed mainly by me, Vera, with help from Roku (famous for his RE campaigns) and various others.

Vera's Special Note

So L4RE4 is in a really bad spot currently... I have long lost the files (they're there I think, I just don't know where), and kinda had no time to work on ANYTHING of the Doom II Wad.

Doom II Campaign!

So as recently stated in an Announcement, I (Fluttershy) am working on a Doom II map pack before Left 4 Dead 2. I don't know, I think it's going to be massively easier to start with as opposed to full 3D map creation. Don't worry though, L4D2 will be worked on... eventually... But for now, Doom II will work just fine. It can be set up to be played in multiplayer, and well, there's plenty of stuff to do. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone. Just know that it will be done at some point.

House of Horrors Part 1

Hello again! So if you know me, then hello, if you don't, welcome, I'm Vera, I'm the developer of the map pack. Anyway, not important. What is important, is what's going on. So recently I gained some heavier knowledge of Hammer World Editor, and as such, I have quite a bit more knowledge on how to develop maps for Left 4 Dead 2, and other Source engine games finally. What does this mean? Well, ladies and gentlemen, the project is officially under way! To be exact, the house where Leon meets the first Ganado is (albeit crudely) finished, and has detail around the entire house. My knowledge of L4D2 mapping is still limited, and to save on quite a bit of space and time and hardware requirements (and possibly to actually make the map work within the confines of Source engine's limitations, there'll be less detail than a Roku map until later, but I do want everyone to be made aware that the project is officially real and exists and I am actively working on it again. Give me a few minutes, maybe an hour or two, and I'll post some WIP screenshots even.

(taps microphone) This thing on? Oh good. Hello everyone! It's been too long, hasn't it? 4 years and no work put into the Left 4 Resident Evil 4 Campaign. I'm happy to announce that in celebration of me finishing high school, getting a motherboard for my PC finally (so I'm not stuck with a laptop), and actually learning to use Hammer, I will be returning to the L4RE4 project. Roku isn't available all that much these days, so learning advanced stuff might be a project in itself, but I do want to finally do this project. Like I said before, it's been too long, and I've long since lost the files to DOOM Evil 4. Thank you everyone for your generous patience. :)

I'll probably start that up later, but for now, I want to make this so everyone has at least SOMETHING to play, you know? On the good hand though, it will be set up for multiplayer later on, so you could send in some players to take out some enemies and the others just play Ashley or something. Actually, on that note, I don't know what I'm going to do for the Ashley parts, as I know there's more than one player like myself that'll be playing this solo. You wouldn't happen to have the ability to make a midi would you? If you can, that would be awesome, I could compose some creepy themes for it...

Alright everyone, so as I've said in the most recent Announcement, I'm going to be updating Doom II's version of RE4 first. I'm sorry, but it'll be easier in the long run since it's going to be essentially just a 2D map, but SO much easier to make something I personally feel proud of (especially graphically).

Sorry about the delay everyone, I truly am... And yes, I'm aware no one cares about the announcements anymore, but I'm going to keep posting them, simply because it keeps you all up to date, even if nothing's happened...
