Let's reach 1000 members for the glory of ICELAND!

Iceland receives a so high amount of tourists that it is problematic.
Visitors are often not prepared for the tough conditions in Iceland and some have even died. There are not enough hotels to take care of everyone so tourists are going from house to house to ask if they can sleep over.

This is not the only problems.
Many visitors breaks the law. Iceland is an expensive country for tourists, even to camp in. So therefore people set up tents in vulnerable landscapes or as I mentioned, go from door to door and ask for free sleepover. Reykjavik's main concert hall had to ban visitors from napping of making sandwiches like it was a daytime dorm.

Should Iceland keep letting people in who don't care about the country ?
We all know that tourism is a great and important income for Icelanders but is it worth it? The government is now trying to figure out how they're going to deal with the problem. A popular suggestion is to only let a certain amount of tourists in at the time.

I think Iceland should be very careful with who they let in and how many. The nature is the most valueable thing they have after the people !

For me it's the beautiful nature. The great people, The climate & the low crime.
