An experiment in community development.

Rust can be brutal at the best of times. You can spend hours farming material for your base only to be slaughtered just because some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in a tower wanted target practice. The goal of this little project is to attempt to get solo players and small groups to work together and get to know each other.

Rust embodies the outlook of "trust no one" but if you are going to survive, you need to find people you can trust. That is where The Village comes in. We build a compound with places for new comers to be on trial.

We have done this before and living so close to each other comes with challenges, friendly fire being one of the most stressful things to deal with. As we weed out who can handle the chaos of the village and who can't, we work towards getting to know each other better and trying to keep a cool head.
