JACKBOYS is the first compilation from Cactus Jack Records members Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Luxury Tax, and Chase B.

On October 3, 2019, Travis Scott teased the release of the compilation tape in an interview with Zane Lowe.

A day later, Don Toliver teased his involvement on the album, via Twitter.

On November 29, 2019, merch bundled with a virtual copy of the album went on sale on Travis Scott’s website, teasing the album’s release.

On December 26, 2019, the album release date was confirmed to be the next day.
