Infinity ward continues to ignore PC players.

I saw that allot of people feel the same way about this as me so I started a group. Don't expect much to come of it though. Anyway, to business.

As many people have done I bought Modern warfare 2 (on the PC) in the hopes that the multi player would be more of the good stuff from cod4.
I was however, very disappointed. It started off all good and well but it's just getting to a point of ultimate tedium playing the game.

To list a few problems that I have
-lobby members being kicked before game begins then having to go back and fetch them.
-numerous and seemingly non-punishable hackers.
-All matches have incredible amounts of lag unless the host lives next door.
-Certain graphical elements cause major frame rate drops on my pc but I can't disable them without the console.

In short: I will not be buying another game created by Infinity ward (or published by Activision) unless they give the PC version of this game what it deserves.

-dedicated servers
-developer console
-mod tools
-LESS HACKERS

This is what has made PC games great in the past and it should stay that way.

Map Packs and CoD Black Ops

I know "Actiward" are a business and they need income but seriously... Was the worlds best selling game (EVER) not enough for them!? The mark up of over £10 for a few maps is ridiculous, especially seeing as I logged countless hours on two of the maps already in cod4. (they feel incredibly stale now)

I'm happy to see that it seems the majority of PC players have not forked over the cash for this over priced map pack, with 18,000 players still playing regular TDM over the few thousand playing the stimulus play lists.

If only a few people snag this pack up at the lowered (still high) price then maybe it'll come down to a reasonable price that I'd actually feel like parting with. I just purchased splinter cell for £4.99... and that's a FULL game (old admittedly but much more value for money)

Onto CoD Black Ops.
Looks interesting.. Hope Treyarch have pulled themselves together and made a decent game here.
I still won't be buying for the simple fact that Activision are publishing and Treyarch will be forced by them to move onto the next title rather than staying with Black Ops for a while and support it post launch. Prepare for game breaking bugs that never get fixed if you do buy it.
I really hope Treyarch can prove me wrong on this one.

Because as much as people complain it's the only half decent multiplayer game with lots of players right now. I've moved back to cod4 anyway so I won't be contributing any more hours of Mw2 play.
