Hilarious example of corp bootlicking from KF subreddit. It's a response to the news that, apparently, ~60K players on steam already preordered KF3 and it's trending in sales, purely through preorders. Is this person a genuine shill? Or is xe a deluded ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who can't grasp his own self interest? Or a literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who just wants to see the gamedev burn purely for the sake of it?

What makes it hilarious is the supposed grandstanding of the tone, all while relying on the arguments that don't warrant any grandstanding as they are, for the most part, all fake, disingenuous and gay.

The scifi tone.

Yeah, you can totally make scifi games. Some of them are even moderate to good from the financial success standpoint. Doom 2016/eternal games are a good example of it. But why would you insist on hijacking an EXISTING successful franchise for it and turn it into something it never was? Why wouldn't you start a new one or work on continuing the legacy of some existing scifi franchise? Why do you necessarily have to spit into the faces of so many faithful and dedicated fans and rub it into their faces? This is not nice. Not respectful at all in any way. There's no decency in doing it. You essentially betray them and the vision of the franchise.

There will be a higher than usual share of fans who don't read and don't know anything, who are going to buy it just simply out of respect they had for the vision they subscribed to in the previous installments. Only to get frustrated, unpleasantly surprised and disillusioned. Why do you insist on doing it to these people, out of nowhere?

People are whiney about the games and this is why we can't have nice things.

These shills never bother with explaining the mechanism of how this would work. How exactly not whining about the quality of the games magically translates into having higher quality games.

This is because there's no such mechanism. It's always the opposite -- the consumers have to take action and push back for any effect to materialize. Flash mobs, organized boycott campaigns, negative reviews, no-buy commitments -- these things work. This is why the gamedevs and publishers go out of their way to ban swiftly anyone suggesting it. This is why these paid shills and bootlickers are out there mocking this approach. Because boycotting and negging works. Even as it pertains to this game -- this is exactly what worked in forcing TWI to promise to detach the characters from classes. Licking their boots definitely didn't work. Preordering also didn't work. Preorder cancels, on the other hand, worked wonders, LMAO.

The game has obvious flaws. Many things that were present in the previous installments are inexplicably absent. How exactly does it make this game better if it doesn't have a text chat? It doesn't.

Why you can't reassign all the keys and many of them are hardwired, such as 'Tab'? Why all the prompts like interact prompts for opening/closing doors, show the hints for hardwired keys ('E'), even if one reassigns them? It wasn't like that in the previous games. Why there's no great KF2 level ragdolls for gibs and corpses? Why all weapon animations that aren't reused from KF2 are garbage? Hell, if we can't have things better 10 years later, how about just maintaining the same level of quality? No? Can't have that?

By arguing against whining, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ essentially makes things worse for all and every gamer, including xerself.

Why can't you make something of value and praise something of value from scratch? Why do you insist on hijacking something that already works and proven to be popular enough to generate enough income to sustain a 150 heads gamedev studio? Why do you have to crap on all that in order to risk with a new approach which nobody knows for sure if it works or nah? Isn't it destruction? Isn't it hijacking? Yes and yes. Why would you praise destruction of property instead of building something new and successful from scratch?

I'll be specific, I am one of the most knowledgeable people as it pertains to this franchise, although mostly as it pertains to KF2. But on my friends list there are enough of people who know the most, if combined. I even played KF3 stress test.

I am one of the contributors to the modding scene in KF2. The hoster of a number of popular community servers for a number of years. I am one of the top contributors into saving KF2 from the DDoS attacks, something that every gamer benefited from, as everybody hates playing with lags.

I am the author of the only KF2/TWI related blog in the whole Universe. How exactly is my opinion weak or biased or inexperienced or uninformed? Especially as compared to this redditor's opinion? I'm very well known to substantiate and provide essence to any claim I make and avoid thoroughly anything if it's not substantiated? I carefully research various controversial aspects of the game and, if viable, quantify it? And, once quantified, it somehow always end up proving the opinion I come forward with just based on my gaming and modding experience?

Obviously none of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥'s takes ring true. It's all fake and gay. Just like as this upcoming game. And for the true reason why this corp bootlicking exists, which, again, makes every gamer's life worse, is this:
