Men of the Suebi


A few hours ago, a mysterious man entered the gates of our Capital, Lupfurdum. This man was wearing heavy robes, and was on a horse packed heavy with strange objects. As he entered, he was stopped by two warriors, and once checked he was immediately sent to the Great Hall. In the Hall, the man quickly revealed himself as a foreign visitor, named Isidoros. Isidoros explained how he was a Greek scholar and traveler from the land of Crete. Isidoros had traveled North to seek the ways of the Germanic People. He wanted to trade his Hellenistic Ideals with our people, and possibly introduce contact with Greece. After thinking on his proposal, I have decided to leave it with the people to decide.


A - Yes, we should let him in. If we embrace these ideas, we can become a more advanced society. In addition, the sublime military training of the Hellenes will give us an advantage on the battlefield. Also, more trade could prove a boost in our economy.

B - No, no and no. This fool thinks his pathetic ideals and boasted ways should be shared with us? He is a lunatic to think this, our great German people are content with our ways, and our ways shall stay the same! No foreigner has any right to tell us what to do!
