Interesting Trivia

Harry Potter is written in 67 languages.
J.K. based the dementors on how her depression made her feel.
Tom Felton auditioned for the roles of Harry and Ron before landing the part of Draco Malfoy.
J.K gave Harry the same birthday as her own, the 31st July.
Voldemort also means flight of death in French.
J.K. gave Hermione her favourite animal as her patronas, because she had high resemblance to her younger self.

Merry Christmas to all fellow HP fans.

I hope your Christmas lunch is as satisfying as in the great hall and your presents have topped an invisibility cloak!

A hundred fat, roast turkeys; mountains of roast and boiled potatoes; platters of chipolatas; tureens of buttered peas, silver boats of thick, rich gravy and cranberry sauce and stacks of wizard crackers every few feet along the table... Harry pulled a wizard cracker with Fred and it didn't just bang, it went off with a blast like a cannon and engulfed them all in a cloud of blue smoke, while from the inside exploded a rear admiral's hat and several live, white mice."
